The job
Start to finish.
01
A 30-inch post oak had split at the main union in a spring storm. Half the canopy was resting on the garage roof, with more weight hanging over the driveway and a live service line.
02
Two climbers rigged the hanging leader to the standing stem and lowered it in sections from the bucket truck — nothing dropped near the roof. We tarped the damaged decking that night.
03
By noon the wood was chipped and hauled, the stem was down to a clean stump and the yard was raked and blown. Photos and a written report went straight to the insurer.
