01

What we found

What we found

The oak had died back from oak wilt and was dropping limbs onto the roof. A pool on one side and the house on the other left no safe drop zone.

02

How we did it

How we did it

With a 40-ton crane parked on the street, our climber cut the tree into nine controlled picks. Each piece was lifted over the roofline and set down on the driveway for the chipper.

03

How we left it

How we left it

The stump was ground below grade, the lawn was raked and blown, and the driveway was swept. Not a single shingle or plant was damaged.

“I was sure we’d lose part of the roof. They lifted the whole tree out over the house and the yard looked better than before.”
